I am trying to configure my NetX and am having trouble. When I go to look at the status of my internet connection I am picking up my neighbors network which has a very weak signal compared to my network which it randomly picks up from time to time. How do I get the Ipronto and the NetX to always be picking up my network. I have a Lynksys wireless router.

Have you changed the SSID of your network to something unique?

Also disable the broadcast feature of wireless router after you have set up your devices. This will keep your neighbors from picking up your wireless signals.

hi!
Make sure you turn off 'auto channel' so your AP doesn't switch channels (increased stability), and choose a different channel from your neighbour's. If you happen to know which neighbour it is that has a wireless network, advice this person to turn off broadcast ssid and set up controlled access - based on MAC. (everybody with a wireless network should do this) This prevents your ipronto from accessing his network by accident, and make his network more secure.

Happy New Year!
