I'm not able to upload or download from my PC (using iProntoEdit) to my iPronto.

My iPronto is able to see the Internet with no problem. When I try to connect the PC to the iPronto, an error message pops up that says:

"Unable to create connection to iPronto, please check your PC network connections."

I checked all of my connections including my wireless router, etc, and everything seems to be working fine.

I'm currently using firmware version 1.6, and I want to upgrade to the latest version, but I don't want to lose the ICF that is currently loaded.

Can someone please shed some light on this???

Thanks!

Can you ping your ipronto?

If you can try putting your IP address in the 'Target Pronto' field.

If this fails try putting a static IP address on the pronto and trying again.

I've just received my iPronto! What a cool device!
But I am having the same problem.
I've programmed a very simple .icf, downloaded it and got "file got corrupted" message.
Now I can't download anymore. iProntoEdit give me the same message, after locating the iPronto IP and trying to download.:

"Unable to create connection to iPronto, please check your PC network connections."

I've tried DHCP, Fixed IP, disabling firewall with no results.

Any help?

Also, some basics questions:
- Can I download any kind of audio?
- Can I disable all the internet surfing features and buttons?
- Can I use the part of the screen with the left column (TOOLS <> HOME HOME)?

Thanks,
Bruno
