Just took a look at the Pre-CEDIA preview on the Philips RC98000i. Though the iPronto is fully programmable and customizable via PC link, the RC98000i appears to have the look and functionality I wish the iPronto demonstrated. Hopefully Philips will adopt some of these features on a future release of the iPronto.

Look at the September 10th news update, see the CEDIA 2004 video, or look for the Philips banner ad on this site.

I think it looks awul compared to the iPronto. It also seems clear that they are not trying to succeed the ipronto with it.
