Hello,

Every morning, I must reboot my Ipronto because net access is impossible (the others functions are OK)
(at this time, Wi-Fi net access is controlled OK from a PC)
Once the manual reboot is done, net access is OK

Notes
- During the night, the automatic scheduled EPG update is OK
- Last firmware 1.7 update process was OK
- After a manual EPG update, never loss of Ipronto's net access

Question 1:
What can I do ?
What do you think about a new manual firmware update, from the hidden manual setup menu ?
Do you think that the setting time of 5 min for the automatic power off is too short ? (it would stop too early the correct reboot after scheduled EPG update.. ) ?

Question 2:
Can I set to 'OFF' the automatic scheduled EPG update ?
(I didn't find this useful option in EPG Ipronto's setup)

Thanks for any help :)
Best regards
Jean-Max

I wouldn't expect that it would help...

No ... the time you have specified for the auto power off should not affect the EPG update at all.

Question 2:
Can I set to 'OFF' the automatic scheduled EPG
update ?

Not as far as I am aware.

OK; thanks; so it's a another way to find.

On a french Ipronto's forum, 2 guys said me today that it's because my (Netgear W602) WAP is B and G mode
(note : in its setup, I blocked the G mode..)
They had the same problem as me, and they changed for a new WAP model, B mode only ; ...and no more problems with their Ipronto !
Have you heard something about this possiblility ?

Thanks for any help
Best regards

I have a Belkin G and B router, and no problems as you describe...

I t might be worth forcing a manual firmware update, just in case this fixes something. Like bassfiend, I think it is unlikely to help, but it won't do any harm...
