Never tried this one,
Try it for testing, it's safe, easy and free :)
but try it withouth either the "http://" or the "\\" part.
For accessing from my Ipronto to the networked HTPC, it's Ok writing only 192.168.1.1 but only if a Web server is running in this PC (no matter, the Web server I use is so small !)
I don't use the http part to access my router...
I tried only "192.168.1.99" to access to my Netgear WAP
-> the same "Unauthorized access" as with
Http://..
No matter; I can easyly access to it from any networked PC , and its setup is OK
In other words, to access the router : "192.168.1.99"
or whatever, to access the file :"PC_IP\Shared-directory\File.htm"
In my XP Home Sp1a , it's OK ony if a web server is running
Now I am looking for a good html front end to install in my HTPC : I think it could be an good interactive mean to communicate between Ipronto and the HTPC
(OK : the Ipronto is not a PC, but what about testing ?)
Do you think that the only IR command method is the best mean to communicate between Ipronto an an HTPC ?
(I am hesitating about this..)
Thanks for your ideas ; my best regards
