I have a netgear HUB & Wireless works fine, but running Vitual PC and iProntoEdit i can not get iprontoEdit to find the iPronto on the network have tried for 2 days ???

Have you checked all the obv things (iPronto has a valid IP address, subnet mask, gateway; the 'signal' strength is good?, you can ping it from the machine you have iProntoedit installed? etc)?

yes i have full signal all ip,subnet all good, how do i ping on virtual pc ?

Try instead of Virtual PC the Tonto Project and you can program the Philips right away. You need the Tonto app ( [Link: giantlaser.com]) and the Keyspan USB Serial Reader. That works absolutely fine and stop ypur headache. Greetings S. Brauner

Dont understand i tryed Tonto and i thouht the only way to communicate with iPronto was via WiFi send and recive via I.P.s how does the Keyspan USB Serial Reader come into play? sorry if i dont totally understand but only had iPronto 1 week and live Australia i got it online from U.S. and sifting thru this forum is my only link to iPronto People Cheers
