Where has BST support gone in the EPG?

Since upgrading to the new firmware,my EPG program information is all out by an hour. There is no setting for London BST in the system settings, so how can I set it up properly?

i tried setting a different timezone, GMT+1 but this knocks 2 hours off my system time, so the epg data is still incorrect. Looks like Philips programmers don't understand BST. Is anyone else in the UK seeing this problem?

For anyone who is interested in a response from Philips on this problem:

"Dear Mr. Smith,

Thank you for your enquiry.

We have checked the time zone settings and we must agree with you something is wrong with it. Therefore, we had immediate contact with the Pronto development team and they will take a closer look at the matter. As soon as we have more information available, we will contact you again."

Interesting that no one else in the UK has commented on this problem - I can't be the only UK owner of an iPronto. Also, interesting that it wasn't spotted by beta-testers during the extended period it was being tested......

Here is what mine does :

Clock next to the mute button + 1 hour (18.20)
EPG "now" says correct time ! (17.20)
Settings screen GMT London, 17.20, 24 hr clock, DD/MM/YY

And this morning the clock on the front is correct, as is the EPG....

Very odd.

CarbonToe,

That you're not satisfied with your iPronto and the way Philips operates, ok, but your cynical contributions is bloody annoying me.
Your remarks are not very constructive and friendly to all betatesters who put a lot of their spare time in this past Betatest!
Thanks a lot!!

Kees.

Kees,
Sorry I seem to have posted reply to my post, in front of yours.... hope it made some sense.

Personally thanks for your and other contributions to this site / issues.

Seems to me that the clock issue would be easily missed in beta as its not consistent accross all machines. Mine is fine this evening (other than some of my channels disapearing in the epg, which has also happened before the upgrade)

I think the new firmware is a huge improvement.

Easily and sure when you, as I, live in the Netherlands!
Thank you Andrew.

Best regards,
Kees

Dear Ipronto users,

We have just released iPronto Version 1.6.22. This iPronto firmware version is a patch for UK and Russian iPronto users who experienced a time shift issue with their EPG. This version will correctly align EPG and system time in UK and Russia. All other users may, but do not need to upgrade if you are running version 1.6.21. Please see [Link: pronto.philips.com] improvements gained from version 1.6.21

regards
The Philips ProntoTeam
