Approx every 70 seconds my iPronto emits a very quiet tick, is this normal?

Does anybody else's do this?

CarbonToe,

Every iPronto does that. The "Quiet tick" after about every two minutes is caused at the time iPronto checks/updates the clock display status and wireless connection. It's no bug.

One reason the battery life is so short is likely due to this constant wireless network checking. I was amazed the first time I checked my AP's log and saw the iPronto connecting every few minutes.

Mine is ticking too... Once noticed, you will hear it all the time. Can't it be solved?
