I just got my iPronto yesterday everything connected fine and the setup went good. Except 3 things..

1. My EPG wont update fully. It gives an error and says it will try later.

2. Sometimes I cant power off the unit with the side button. Then if i go to the back menu and choose reboot. It says unable to reboot try later. So I then have to use the stylus to reset the unit.

3. I programmed the screen buttons and hard buttons with my original remote. But when you want to say change channels you have to press the button and actually keep it pressed for it to change, you cant just tap it likr the tsu2000. Same goes for the hard buttons. it clicks but sometimes wont change. If you want to go up 2 stations you have to pressss, let up pressss... Some what of a pain. Im wondering if its the iPronto itself or the Firmware...
Anyone else expierence this?

Thanks
Chris

I have not tried yet.. I will try when i get home today and let you know..
The thing that really bugs me is the reboot problem and sometimes it does not auto shut off itself.
The screen and light stay on till I reset the unit.
Hope philips hurrys up!

Chris,

I've heard similar things about the firmware. Regarding your problems with sending learned IR codes, I had a similar problem. Learned the code, works, but does not repeat. I found that when you keep the button pressed longer while learning untill it says succeeded, the code does repeat. Works fine now.
