thanks for the long and detailed reply, good job the moderator is not checking for off topic conversations :-)

I do use satlogo and excellent it is. Guess you must have also been to www.lyngsat.com For the RU940 turn the jpg to a bmp and then greyscale, add a border and resize. this works well for me. I note in iprontoedit you can use jpg's directly which is nice.

In terms of product quality, and features, there is always going to be something thats not quite right, no perfect product. I think that Philips have done the right thing by making it upgradeable and putting enough hardware features in there for the future.

I guess making the thing so customisable is one of its great strengths as well as a weakness for those that want a remote thats almost finished "out of the box"

I must say I think this web site is very very good, I guess its up to those here to contribute or not.

Will try electroncsnation again after your comments and let you know.

Yes I agree.Good web site.But if there was more replies.We could have used copy and paste,for similar matters.And made tips and trick pages.It's an idea.I don't know? As it is now,the same questions comes again time after time.Still unanswered.
