transparent frames around color icons?

now that i have my ipronto up and running and importing what color icons i have from my 6000; is there a way to just paste the channel icon itself without have the white background frame around it?

looks like that's not possible.
the buttons in the default.icf all have a piece of backgroud in them. if they had transparency, guess they'd used it.
Personally I'm making a layered design in Photoshop and then cut out the buttons.
If you don't use that, you could just use Paint and fill the white with the color you want to use as background.

when philips trained me on this ipronto they mentioned something about transparent buttons but they did not go into much detail about it. i have photoshop 5.5 but i have not played with it much regarding the layered designs. let me know how it goes...for now i am triming the background down to a minimum; especially on their gallery. the colored buttons are nice but way to much background.
