I have an iPronto at my office and was wondering if anyone else has encountered a battery issue with the remote?
The problem that I have noticed is that if I leave the battery out of the remote control and have it plugged into the power pack the remote works just fine. When I put the battery back in starts having all kinds of problems. Problems like constantly rebooting, touch the screen and nothing happens, and most of the similar problems that everyone else is having. Take the battery out plug it into the power pack and it works great.
Do you think I may have a bad battery or could this be the source of all our problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you placing the batterypack in and out while your iPronto is on? If so, I don't think it's advisable to change the batterypack while your Remote is on, at anytime. You could damage hard- and software. It's like starting a car while it's running (ouch!).

I turned the pronto off today and then put the battery back in, so far nothing is wrong. So that must have been the mistake that I had made. Thanks for the help.
