$950.00 is a good price for the iPronto. I am not familiar with this company. I have owned the remote for abouth 9 months and I am very happy with it!

Take note: They are selling reburbished units.
As long as you know, I guess it's OK.

Very cheap but bear in mind

"We (electronicsnation) are a Philips' authorized web-site store selling quality-refurbished models at discount prices. Philips "Refurbished" products have been refurbished to Philips' quality standards and are fully operational, but may have cosmetic imperfections that in no way detract from the performance or safety of the product."

What is the warranty, how does it compare with the warranty of a new one, and does it matter in light of the fact expressed elsewhere in this forum that Philips is doing a lousy job supporting this product?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I personally never would buy a used device. Buy a new one with full and original warranty to be sure. My experience with Philips is good. My iPronto has been replaced for a new device, the first time I discovered a defect. Also I have good experiences with the iPronto-helpdesk.
My device works fine. I'm very satisfied with it. Some of us iPronto-users are now Beta-testers for Philips. Philips is very busy at the moment to "make things better". I can only say: BUY ONE. It's a magnificent machine!
