The iPronto has no facility (at the moment at least) to receive data from the wireless LAN (other than configuration files from the config software) and so it would not be possible to have the iPronto display any sort of variable data in this way.

Whether this may change in a future firmware release is another matter - I know that I have spoken with various people at Philips about this (at some length) and they have expressed an interest however the difficulty is in how to handle any "reporting back" - how to get the data sent back to the iPronto in a way which is manageable, extendable and not useable by just a few proprietry bits of equipment.

If you had the homeseer home automation product you could do what you want. the product has a full interface to a touchsceen running a qwb browser/ i have not tried it with the iPronto and probably would be a little nervous since I believe the are really aimed at MS IE and i bet use javascript. Much more info at homeseer.com.

I was using the iPronto to display a web interface from HomeSeer recently at a small show that I helped out at ... I don't know what facilities of the HS web interface it was and wasn't using but it definitely worked.

I don't think there were any data input boxes - it was all data display and buttons ... perhaps it's data input boxes that might cause problems? (I don't have HomeSeer at home myself to try.)
