Just installed my ipronto. Thanks to the forum, all my questions except this one were nicely covered. It's working fine, nice little box.
I've seen comments that the EPG will only support one source (cable, sat, locals, etc.) I have a Hughes HDTV receiver which receives both my local digital channels + DirecTV. I've come to the conclusion (after 2 hours on the Philips EPG web site + googling) that you can't setup an EPG subscription that downloads data for both. I'd love to hear differently, but I would say this is a moderate limitation of the otherwise attractive EPG service.
It shouldn't be hard for Philips to allow multi-sources for a subscription (not to mention the ability to program digital channels into the "watch" device by adding the ability to add a "-" to a channel number.) Consider this a suggestion to Philips, which undoubtedly monitors this forum. Better yet, an ability to tie a channel macro to each individual channel in the EPG could be very useful (not to mention a record capability for my Tivo, but of course that wouldn't require me to maintain a Tivo subscription...)
Sorry for the rant, if someone knows a way to get multiple program sources into the EPG, I'm all ears.
