I just finished designing my ICF which is only about 3MB. I have 8 devices and about 22 pages in total. I have some imported graphics that I am importing as PNG files rather than BMP. Everything looks great in Ipronto edit but when I try and download it goes through the download process and then gives me the message "ICF file is too complex.. Try reducing number of devices, pages or buttons". This is crazy because my file isn't that big and my design can't be that complex for a $1,500 device like the iPronto. I sent the file to Philips to troubleshoot but I haven't heard anyhting yet. Has anyone encountered this issue and how did you resolve? I would appreciate any help.

Did you try searching the forum for this? The results I get say that this is typically due to one device being too large/having too many buttons.

Daniel, I did try and search the forum and didn't find any specific answers. I did have something wierd happen though that I cannot explain. After I downloaded my ICF and got the "ICF too complex message" I hit OK and left the iPronto alone for awhile. I came back reset it and after it rebooted 30 mins later BAM!!!, my ICF was there. I don't know what the deal is maybe the error comes up because of time it took to download. I am going to test the code today and will post the ICF once I complete testing. I am hoping this is a SW glitch because my file isn't that big nor is it really complex from a macro standpoint. The Philips tech support team has recreated my problem and are supposed to get back to me with an explanation or fix.

I hope you aren't in love with a lot of that code... The code portion of your ICF is limited believe it or not to 2MB at the moment. This according to what I've heard from Philips, this will be fixed at some later time to 6MB. You can check your code portion for size by temporarily changing you file extension to .zip. Check the size of the configxml in win zip. Adjust accordingly (delete stuff you'll need to do without).
