I purchased a Belkin54G access point last night,
pluged it in, unplugged the linksys stuff, set
the ip's to the same as my Linksys WAP11 and ...............

I'm using a Linksys WAP plugged into an OnQ router. Are you saying that this was a hardware conflict issue??

yep,

since the brand change no problems at all .. all this time i was thinking i was doing something wrong with the pronto or its set up. With the wap11 network i tried for three days to configure my netX's thinking i was doing something wrong... this is my first ipronto ... since the access point change , its a whole new game, my netx's both work great, configed first shot (it wouldnt even let me change their names before) my EPG loads and after only two days seems fine too. before the iprontoedit never even saw my pronto on the network nor could it "autodetect" the netX. to download the config file i was typing in the fixed ip I had it set to. Now the software "sees" it from the upper download box.

so hopefully it will keep on truckin .....

only time will tell ..

Now WLAN works
after days working arround above problems and updating all devices it works now for two hours.
Using D-Link DWL900AP+
set speed to 10MB, using DHCP,using encryption, set the DWL900AP+ to MAC Filter function on (Typing the MAC addresses of the iPronton and other WLAN clients.
I don´t know which one was the good one but it still works, loaded the complete EPG (before it was corruptetd)an I´, still connected.
