running latest firmware 1.5.6 and Pronto Edit 2.2.

1. When I try to learn skip forward and skip back for DVD and CD the buttons only work once. In other words, press skip forward and the CD or DVD skips to the next track. Press it again to skip again and nothing happens.
2. FF and RW don't work either.Using Meridian CD/DVD.
3. With pronto you can have the hard buttons be dependent to the device. This doesn't work with Ipronto. Why?
4. RF response using the network extender seems slow and does not work consistently.

Another problem found:

5. After several minutes of use the sound no longer works. You have to reset ipronto to get the system sounds back then it just stops working all over again.

Anyone else experience these problems? Any solutions?

Thanks.

Regarding problems #1 and #2.

I imported my pronto pro ccf then compared the IR codes for the buttons that are not working. The ipronto icf showed anywhere from 3-6 lines of code for each button whereas the pro ccf showed 1 short line of code for each button. I copied and pasted the ccf code over to the ipronto icf and know each button works perfectfly.

There must be a bug in the ipronto causing this. The learning function simply does not work for some remotes like the meridian MSR whereas as I have yet to find a remote that did not work perfectly with the pronto's.

I also hope that philips changes the functionality of the hard buttons. I was expecting them to work like the pronto hard buttons. In other words, I would like to program the hard buttons dependent of the device. I have a tivo, hd box, and TV that all have different ir codes for mute, ch, and vol.
