After getting the latest e-mails from Philips, I upgraded my IPronto according to the directions. Now, not only do I not have any EPG, but the seven round buttons on the left side of the screen (eight including the i icon) are completely non-functioning.

Where I used to be able to touch a button and browse my home page or access the EPG, now I get nothing, nada, zilch zero.

What the hell do I do now? ICrappo.

Try downloading the software again. If you can access the settings.

If not - boot your iPronto and press the Channel + button. Go to 'Restore' in the 'Manual Configuration' screen. Set the 'Flag for Update' to 'Yes'. Press Done followed by Resume. Now press the 'Channel +' button to force the update.

Maybe issue will be solved after upgrading to the latest software again.

Yep. That solved it. But isn't it interesting that although the iPronto "team" has supposedly been monitoring this site daily, and recently announced their presence, they've never publically or privately offered a solution to any posted problems?

Welcome aboard ipronto team -- thanks for nothing.

I think they made it pretty clear that they didn't have the intention of posting answers to questions here. If you have a specific question or problem that you would like answered by Philips themselves use the direct link they gave you http://www.pronto.philips.com, and fill out the form. Hopefully you'll get an answer back from someone other than their phone tech support! (kidding!) The answer that you got (that worked)probably would have been the same from them.
