Any IR command Ive learned into the remote never works. The only way Ive gotten any button to work is by going to properties for each device and telling it what brand and so forth, and then using the IR in the iProntoEdit database. What good is the learn function if it doesnt work?

I am not sure what is happening when you learn codes. I have well over 700 I have learned into mine and all work fine.

Two possibilities. First the most simple. If you are the Pronto master, you are used to holding the sending remote to the bottom of the pronto to learn commands. With the iPronto, you have to hold them with the tops facing each other. The other thing that you do a lot is copying and pasting buttons that you like the graphics. In iPronto, when you copy a button, then try teach it a new code, all of the copies learn the new code as well. Big pain that caused me a very long day on the phone with Philips. There are other threads that discuss workarounds. Also I have been told that the new release fixes this bug, but I have not verified this. Hope this helps.
