This may be an "operator" problem, but when I tried to install the sofware, I received this:
Error 1919.Error configuring ODBC date source TSI6400DAT, ODBC error 6: Component not found in the registry. Verify that the file TSI6400DAT exists and that you can access it.

Options: Abort, Retry or Ignore. If I "ignore" I receive similar messages for IPRONTO_EDIT_GALLERY and IPRONTO_EDIT_IMPORT.

Ignoring all three, I can then use iProntoEdit except there are no default brands, codes, bitmaps, etc. - I'm just able to change buttons, download and upload.

I am running Window XP Professional and I am the administator.

Any ideas on what I've done wrong?

I am having the exact same problem with the exact same errors and results. I contacted tech support and they told me that it was my operating system. I am running ME which is crap anyway and was planning on getting XP. Please keep me posted if you find a solution so that I dont waste my money on a new OS that dose the same thing that this one does.

I finally found the resolution in a Microsoft Tech Support article - it is a ODBC driver problem, not an iPronto problem. I followed the instructions in the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 324520, reinstalled the iProntoEdit SW and all is fine. Here's the link.

thanks for the help, I was unable to find the folders that I needed to modify so it looks like I might be buying that new OS after all
