Welcome to the new forum! This area is for discussion of products based on the new Philips/Intel "iPronto" hardware and software platform. The first such remote control is the iPronto TSi6400, a combination color TFT touchscreen remote control, wireless internet browser and electronic program guide.

Daniel, I like the new jump to a specific forum you just added.

Is there any info on when the editor will be available?

That's been there for a long, long while now. :-)

Nope, haven't heard anything yet. Wasn't even expecting PENG.

I guess I come here to often to need to go all the way to the end of the page, so I either never noticed or forgot about it :-)

Dear Daniel,

First of all congratulations for the very interesting forum you've created. It is really a knowledge basis for everybody.

I leave in Brazil and Philips here just don't know about iPronto existence!!!

I use a linksys 802.11b router which provides a very good service having connected 3 desktops and my HP Ipaq 5455 PDA without problems so far.

But... there is no way to have my iPronto working as it should. I cannot get it connected to the internet and download new versions of its 1.3.7 firmware version.

Everything was checked many times. I am using the manual setup and a DHCP setting.

So, please, help!!!

Lauro

you're using DHCP but can you actually see an IP address, subnet mask and default gateway when your accessing the network tab in the settings? If 'IP' is assigned and you can't access the internet make sure your proxy settings are correct.

If IP isn't assigned make sure you've entered the correct SSID, encryption settings, proxy settings and set the device to 'Use DHCP'. If no IP is assigned check you Wireless Access Point. Is the range of IP addresses limited (on some access point ranges can be set).

You can also reboot the device and press the 'Channel +' button until you see 'Manual Configuration' screen. You now can set all settings + boot + try the net.
