Looking at buying the new 880. Does anyone have any experience with this remote and the new HD DVR's from Directv? My old R10DVR was based on TIVO commands. This new HR20 is not, its directv's own little brain child. The functions for the most part are the same but there are some differences. Im wanting to know if you can program the 880 to function fully for the new DVR remotes. Anyone??

880 works pretty well with the HR20 with the exception of the "hold down" commands. (hold down FF 3 sec = skip to tick, etc.) These commands can be sent with the 880 but they are tricky. (the HR20 remote automatically resends the command after 3 sec, but the 880 needs a repress of the button) if you can live with that, the 880 can fully replace the HR2 remote.
