Just got a 675, and can't seem to get the MEDIA button to do anything? What's it for, how do you programme it?

It's for tv channels or CD/DVD lists. Check the FAQs.

Where do I access the FAQs on Logitech's site? Can't find anything about Harmony remotes on Logitech's website, only mice, keyboards, etc.

Any idea how do I setup the Media button to display TV listings for UK Sky satellite channels?

On the website, each activity that deals with your TV, should have a 'Setup Media Content' link.

Okay thanks. When (or is that IF) I can get into the setup pages for my remote, I'll check that out.

I also have the 675 but don't see that option.
How can I program this button for favorite channels?

Well, finally the website is working, and I now have an activity called "Watch TV", using my TV and Sky Satellite Receiver devices, but no link to Setup Media Content. The one place I do see a "Setup Media" link is against my DVD device, but according to cbordman I should see this link against activities, not devices. Very strange.

I've emailed Logitech support, I'm guessing that something's still broken on the website preventing me setting up the MEDIA button. In the meantime, can anyone explain how to setup the Media button on a 675 to do favourite TV channels?

I think it also exists for DVD devices, as a way to label disks in multi CD changers.

Maybe they do not support UK listings.

The option "Setup Media" isn't available at all in my homescreen.

Yes, you setup media for DVD devices but the TV listings are at the activity level. This way you can have separate watch TV activities with different favorite channels e.g.

It has to be a Watch TV type of activity or you don't get the option. I think there were issues with Sky listings - either they aren't available or you have to do something specific in your setup. Try searching older topics.

No....even in the "Watch TV" activity it isn't available.
Maybe it doesn't work with the 675 :(

Okay, searched and found this previous post - [Link: remotecentral.com]

So, it's a fault, and back in August Logitech said that "They have logged this as a problem for futher investigation." I guess they never worked out how to fix this then, and I've had no reply from Logitech support on the problem yet. Suggest we all report this as a problem to Logitech.
