Lost all my favorite channels.
Cox Cable had to swap out my box, now have a Cisco explorer 9865hdc.
went up date the activity in the logitech software and in doing so a msg popped up saying my favorites would be lost. That sure sounds like a programming flaw.

Sure enough after a sync all favorites gone and on top of that the remote not controlling the box! So now I am super ticked off. I am really surprised that I do t see a transfer of favorites or settings for when adding a new device.

So -
1. Anyone have luck with this cisco box?
2. Guessing no way to recover the favorites. So in the future what options do i have and what should be done differently?

If the remote for the cable box is the same, why does the Harmony need to know which cable box is being used?

Answer, it doesn't. The commands for the Cisco and the old box are the same in almost all cases- you may need to fix a couple of them, but the rest are the same.

If you did change the cable box in the Harmony setup, you only need to set new favorites, based on your provider.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
