This feels like a question that's probably been asked before, so sorry for repeating but I didn't see anything obvious in search results.
Our Harmony One got dropped one time too many so I got a Hub. The app on the phone is...OK, I guess, but I don't think it's totally intuitive. Are there alternative apps out there that work with the Hub and are superior to the default app from Logitech? I'm not sure the phone is ever going to be the best remote, but I'd like to check the options.
Thanks.

No. Hub is proprietary to Logitech app only.
You should have gotten iRule and a Global Cache hub if you strictly want to use your phone. But IMO, while phone apps are pretty and will impress your friends, they don't make very good remotes (no hard buttons, can't use without looking at them, light up a dark room, need to be unlocked to use and need to charge daily - no thanks).

Thanks for the feedback. FWIW I agree with your take on using a phone as a remote. It seems to be what Logitech assumes you are doing, though, so I figured I'd check it out.
