I am switching out a standard (non genie) DTV dvr box for the newest genie model. I am using a Harmony One with IR blaster in a cabinet. To substitute the genie for the regular DTV DVR, do I simply delete the old DVR and substitute the genie and have the same control as before I installed the genie?

Nope. No need to do anything. All DirecTV boxes from the past decade or so use exactly the same codes.

Thanks for the response. Are there additional commands on the genie that I need to program into my Harmony?
