I have the 900 set up and I am using the IR/RF blasters setup as my components are behind a closed door. The remote just died on me and thinking about upgrading to the newer ultimate. My question is can I use the same blasters and hub I have now or do I need to replace them with the new ones specific to the new remote. Have a friend who is willing to sell me the remote for a good deal but he does not have the IR/RF setup. Are the old ones compatible?? Thanks

No, you would only to be able to use the Mini Blasters with the Hub. but the main Blaster is no compatible with the Ultimate remote
