My Harmony One hasn't been able to charge for about 10 days. After searching online and in this forum I concluded that the original battery needed replacement, but even with a new battery (received three days ago) it still will not recharge in cradle. The cradle is still receiving power as the white light still shines, but is still not charging the remote.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried cleaning the contacts?

When you put the remote on the cradle, does the LCD screen light up, and display a charging battery icon

No, the LCD screen does not automatically light up and the battery icon remains red.

Is the battery you bought an official Logitech battery?  There are many batteries out there that look the same as a Logitech battery but are not.  The OEM Logitech battery will be all white, and will have the information printed on the case, it will not have label on it,  These non OEM batteries can actually harm your remote.  There are similar Smart Phone batteries out there that will work in your remote but will not charge, as the OEM Logitech batteries have special circuitry built into them.

I believe it is an OEM battery, it is white, but it does have a label on it. Here's the link ([Link: amazon.com]).

If it has a White Label, then it is not an OEM battery, all OEM batteries have the information printed directly on the battery case.
