I have a marantz sr6200 amp without the remote but don't need something super advanced. am thinking about getting the harmony 350. will that access all the functions of the marantz sr6200.

Logitech will already have what you need. Marantz is quite consistent on their code usage. If you're missing specific functions, they can obtain them.
