EDITED

I have the following sequence for changing the Dsp Theater1 and Theater2 sound input from my Yamaha RXV800.

For General/Adventure

1. Device=Plasma Panasonic, Command=Input Video1

2. Device=AV Receiver, Command=9

For Spectacle/SiFi

1. Device=Plasma Panasonic, Command=Inputvideo1

2. Devise=AV Receiver, Command=8

This sequence will allow me to toggle between General and Adventure (Theater 2) and Spectacle/SiFi (Theater 2) while seeing which DSp is activated on the TV screen. However, once I decide which Dsp I want, I then have to go to another custom button to return from AV setting input to the TV back to having the the STB cable's input. My question is I'd like to add this last step to the sequence so that there will be enough time to allow me to toggle , see which Dsp I like, and then have the TV receive the video signal from the STB?

EDIT:

From further research, it is my understanding that one can set a delay, but it will be a global delay and this is not what I want. However, I have figured out a workaround. Instead of a keydelay, I inserted a nonesense command as step 3 in the sequence and then step 4, the command to return to the Cable TV display (inputhdmi1). Interestingly, on the first tap of this button, the TV screen shows that the Dsp for General has been selected and then the screen goes back to recieving signals from the STB. The second tap of the button, now switches and shows that Adventure has benn selected, and then back to the cable TV screen. The theater 1 and 2 buttons are toggle buttons that allow for toggling between two Dsps, thus the reason that the second tap brings up the other half of the Dsp.

Now that I got it working as I want, I'm thinking that I don't even need a delay as there shold be enough time between toggles for me to see which Dsp was inputed and to listen to the sound produced.
