I currently have the URC MX-880 remote, and am curious about these new Harmony remotes which look uite nice.

On my MX-880's IR base, I have about 5 IR ports, which is nice. One of my IR ports connects up to an HDMI balun to cat 6, which goes to my projector, where another IR emitter up there comes out to go directly to the projector.

Does anyone know if you can do something like that with the Harmony unit? Seems a shame if they didn't think of that, it looks like they covered most of the other bases.

yes. i have split the leads out from the 900 and Ultimate ir base units using splitters/adaptors from my friendly neighborhood r-shack. works just fine using both ir mini blasters and direct ir in to those components which have that port.
