I have an activity that turns on my Sony TV and the Verizon cable box and then tunes to a specific channel, "505". It used to work great. For awhile now it has been dropping one or two of the channel numbers about 90% or more of the time. Sometimes it will send the first 5 and drop the 05. Other times it will drop the first 5 and send the 05. Very seldom will it send the full 505. Now I know the first item some will suggest is that I need to make sure I point the remote towards the electronics the full time it is sending signals. I know this as this remote is not new to me. I make it a point of being very careful about this. Here are the things I have tried to remedy the problem: 1. Updated the remote from the existing activities. 2. Deleted the activities, recreated them and updated the remote. 3. Downloaded any updates for the remote software and updated the remote. 4. Updated the firmware for the remote. None of these made any difference. It still drops the end commands. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this issue? Your help is much appreciated.

Someone in another forum suggested I change the delay settings. When I went to change the values for the delays I noticed the option to change the order the devices were turned on. I decided to try that first, as the PVR was being turned on prior to the TV. My thinking was that there wasn't enough time between those two items, based on the suggestion. Sure enough, that seems to be the issue. I changed the order so that the PVR was turned on last. I tried the activity 10 times and it worked well 10 out of 10.
Hopefully, the problem is solved.
