Any Logitech user should be very concerned with their latest plan to sell the remote business. I would really value your feedback here as I've been using mostly Harmony's with good success in even higher end installs, such as Russound, lighting control, etc..
HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS TO MY FELLOW INSTALLERS: 1. We would like to have an IR/RF line of remotes to offer that would be fully programmable and be competitive with Harmony in quality and functionality 2. We prefer an easy path from a stand-alone remote to iOS devices as well as Android with minimal code changes that would work over the installed wireless network. (same brands of remotes of course) 3. Concerned about the lack of database support for my many existing Harmony accounts. Any updates here that you've heard?
Thank you for your recommendations and reasons of why you would go with RTI or URC or other.... Thank you for taking the time to pass along your thoughts!
We develope USB programmable remote controls. You can see more info on our web rccreator.com Please see video on youtube ?feature=watch
Now we produce IR RC 4in1 for more then 2 years. Sorry for bad English on video. Soon RF remote control 8in1. Have only Russian video. Making trivial order 1000pcs. In August start mass production. RC-extender for iPhone(Android). Hardware already finish, need just a little modification. We use Bluetooth low energy IC, so can make software only for iPhone(iPad) now, later after Google add BLE support also write for Android. If all good prototype want to show on IBC in September.
Looking for distributors.
Also if you produce RC in some factory, we can supply IC to this factory.
