Remote Gurus, I have searched a bit here (the best-ever resource for remotes for sure) but still not sure if I can make this all play nice:
Sharp 70" Aquos
Sony BDP-S590
Aspen Eagle Antenna Rotator
Old Sanyo DVD/VHS-VCR
Denon 2112CI AVR with 12-channel whole house audio auto-sensing amp on zone 2
(nothing else I'm worried about)
I'm sure a Harmony will be able to control all these, but I want to customize of course.
On the Eagle rotator, can the remote know which OTA channel I'm on whether I switch to it directly or use the up/down arrows? Will I have to program each channel into the remote? This will lose the auto-scanning for new channels my TV will do with the up/down arrows (I could live with this). Could I also choose to have the remote skip the rotator and have a separate operation "button" to tune the antenna only when I choose to? This will work b/c the antenna is somewhat omnidirectional (they never really are tho), then I could kick it in only when I need it, but the remote would still need to "know" which channel I am sitting on.
Also I want to be able to do similar with the whole house audio, only switch it on (say with a WHA macro) when I want rather than by default, but the remote will need to "know" what source I am on. Normally one would connect the TV to the digital TV input to the Denon AVR, however the AVR won't pass the digital audio thru to zone 2, so I have TV going in Aux video which works. So maybe another macro for home theater would switch to TV via digital to get digital audio via the AVR.
Do I sound picky? I don't mind any kind of programming, been doing that for a living since '89.

You need to remember the Harmony is an activity based remote. It only tracks 2 variables: Power & Input status of all the devices. I does not remember channels. Each activity has a favorite channels feature that will send the channel numbers to the tuner device of that activity, but it has only one per activity. You would need 2. One for the turner device and another for the Antenna Rotor. Your best bet, would be to add the rotor commands to the desired activity(ies).

For your AVR, your could have multiple activities of many types: Zone 1 only, Zone 2 only, Zone1+Zone2.
