My old 650 was breaking up, and the software wouldn't let me control volume with my new receiver (could see option to select, but couldn't control menu to get it to select).
So i purchased a new One and tried to start over. I deleted the old Windows software and installed new from the myharmony website. Well, the setup routine assumes i have a 650, and doesn't recognize the Harmony One plugged in. i don't want to go down that route again.

i searched Google and Logitech support site, but haven't found my situation.

Anyone have any ideas of what i should try?

Did you create a new account, or did you try to use your old 650 account?

SOLVED - My solution was to create a new account with a different email address.

I emailed Logitech support, but what they told me didn't help. First response ignored my question, second response was specific (install software again) but still didn't avoid the system trying to setup a 650. So I installed software again, and set up a new account which required a different email address. Not ideal, but was able to get the system to recognize my One and setup.
