Just set-up a 'Touch' for a relative. Everything appears to work fine except for the "Eject" function for an Oppo BDP-83 DVD player.

Troubleshooting I did:

1. The 'eject' works OK on the player itself.
2. The 'eject' is also OK when I tried it with the Harmony 880 (the remote that was being replaced).
3. I also tried it with the 'eject' command from a Harmony 1100 (my personal remote that is also used with an Oppo) and the 'eject' also works fine.
with this remote.

Can anyone suggest any further troubleshooting that I can do you suggest that I return it to the seller (Amazon)?

Would appreciate any responses.

The problem is either with the button or the command. To differentiate, map the command to a known working button.

Thanks for your reply. I'll follow your suggestion to map the command.

It was never necessary to make any corrections since the problem corrected itself without intervention.

When an appropriate 'Activity' was selected the next time I used the 'Touch', the 'Eject' command did not appear on the opening screen as it had in the past.
I then scrolled down (it had repositioned itself for a reason unknown to me) to find it and it was responsive and functional.
