I have recently had installed a power saving board (government supplied) on my TV and Hi Fi setup
This board- Emerald brand requires a double click on the power button to switch on the TV, which does not appear to be possible on the 880, apart from removing the power board can anybody assist with my problem?

Try changing the device "Adjust Power settings" as if the TV supported discrete power commands by selecting "A button on the remote for On, and a different button for Off". Then for the "On" function, select the option "My device needs more than one command to turn it on and off", and use 2 power toggle commands. For the "Off" function, use a single power toggle command. Good luck.

Note: You did not specify the brand/model of your TV. I assumed that it does not support the discrete power commands, but check the list of commands to see if the discrete "PowerOn" & "PowerOff" commands are available. If so, test them.
