I have a Harmony One with 4 devices and several activities. I am by far not an advanced user. I've been having a problem when switching activities from dvd to TV. While using the dvd which is on HDMI 3 I switch to TV also on HDMI 3 and the tv switchs the tv to chanel 3 which is fuzzy as the cable box comes in through the HDMI input. I press the help button and the tv wil correct itself. I rechecked the remote wizard which look correct and can't understand what the remote is doing switching these activities. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your DVD is connected to your TV on HDMI 3?
You also said, "TV also on HDMI 3" ?

Out of curiosity do you have a Surround Sound Receiver within this mix? I ask because I am unclear about your setup.

The problem you are experiencing could be any # of a few basic, yet different things such as:

1. Your Interkey delay settings need adjustment. In other words your TV is being hit with a command for a different device and is trying to process it while the command for the TV follows but only when the TV is busy.
2. I've watched clients not point the remote at the TV long enough (Human nature I guess)

I need a little more info in order to pinpoint the solution

yes I have a surround receiver. The receiver is on for the dvd and tv and conntects to the tv using hdmi 3 input on the tv. When I start with the "watch dvd" activity the dvd turns on, tv to hdmi 3 and receiver to dvd. While this activity is active I press the change activity button and off goes the dvd, on comes the cable box and with in a second or two I see the tv changing from hdmi 3 to ch 3 which bring on snow with no picture. I hit help on the remote and hdmi 3 comes back.

Sounds like the TV is interpreting a command meant for another device like the DVD or the Cable box or the receiver. In switching between these 2 activities, the remote should not have sent any command to the TV since none were required. Thus, increasing the TV Inter-Device delay will not help. What is the brand/model of the TV? What method is used to change input on the TV (discrete or cycling)?

It a samsung 46" lcd with led backlit. I'm unsure exactly what your refering to with the discrete or cycling. I feel that your correct in saying that the tv should do nothing when going from DVD to TV. Since the tv is already on and the only connection is through the receiver which is on hdmi 3 the tv should do nothing but it is getting a signal and most likely an up chanel signal switching from input mode to channels. I tested this theory with the factory remove when all was running and with an up channel the tv switched to ch 3. Just a thought with the poss up channel as a cause. Any help is appreciated.

Try sending the commands meant for the other devices to see if the TV responds to them. You can use the original remotes of the other devices (DVD, Cable box, receiver), or the Harmony remote in device mode.
Note 1: When you exit the DVD activity, it sends the DVD Stop command by default (see Activity > Settings > Change Options), so don't forget to issue that command as part of your testing.
Note 2: Ignore my comment on discrete vs cycling. It was just a side note.

I have positive feedback. While using the factory remote for my Samsung blu ray dvd player I found that when turning off the blu ray it changed the TV source from HDMI3 to TV. The only connection from the receiver to TV is HDMI 3. I know the activity is correct because when I start each from off everything works fine.

Anynet is a HDMI-CEC control feature.  If you turn on one device, say your DVD player and it is connected to the TV via HDMI, and your TV is off, it will turn it on and change the input.  HDMI-CEC control and Harmony remotes do not work well together.
