Hi,
Is there any way that I can program my 900 and then copy that program into another 900 remote? I ended up with two of them and it would be great to have one fully charged ready to go when the battery in the other runs low. Right now I'm using the spare 900 as a battery charger and I would like to get more use from it.

Yes you can use the same setup on a second Harmony 900.  Start the software, log on to your Harmony 900 account, connect the second 900, and select Update Remote.  Your settings will be transfered to your second 900.  You just can[t use both 900's at the same time as the second 900 will not know what the other 900 has done.  There is not a problem leaving your Harmony remote on the charging cradle when it is not being used.  I have 3 900's in use for 3 different setups, and they have been on the chargign cradle for the last 2 1/2 years, when not being used with no problems.

Thanks. What I meant was that since I haven't configured the second remote I just keep it in the charger and if I inadvertently drain the other one dead, I simply replaced the charged battery with the dead one and use the remote to simply charge up the dead battery. So that's what I meant by using it as a charger.

It worked !! Seemed so obvious a process. Either an error on my part or a new feature. I used to get "configure new device" messages or something when I tried it do that with earlier remote models.

Quick follow up question. I seem to have a duplicate menu set up on the second remote but it won't function with the existing blaster. Instructions talk about updating that but I can't seem to make that work. I get quite close and follow the instructions on the remote to no avail.

Thanks.

You can only pair one remote to a Blaster, the second 900 would have to be paired to a second Blaster.
