I'm building a new house and am considering going with the 900 for my media setup. I've been using a One with a Hotlink setup, but want to go RF and had some questions.
1 - I've seen some posts about the 900's RF range compared to the 1100. Does the 900 still have issues, or did those get worked out in updates.
2 - I also read I might not be able to migrate my One's setup to the 900 because it's a different OS. True?
3 - I noticed the 900 only comes with 3 blasters. I always had trouble in my media closet hitting components with the signal, so I liked that Hotlink actually stuck on the device. I saw where Logitech sold Precision IR Cables. Does that man I can plug in 2 of those into the 900 base to control up to 8 devices?
As I said, I like the hard buttons of the 900. Is there any feature of the 1100 (other than it looks neat) that I should be considering before investing the money in the 900?
Thanks for any and all help\advice!

i'm a big fan of the 900 over the 1100 exactly because of the hard-button, wand-style layout. To answer your questions: 1. I use my 900 in a separate room about 30-40 feet from the blasters and it controls my kit w/o a problem. That is through a typical drywall though. I've read of issues where it there's a problem getting a signal through thicker/concrete walls.
2. True. The 900 set up will need to be done from scratch and may not be migrated from your H-One setup.
3. I bought some splitters and cable from my friendly neighborhood radio shack and run 2 mini blasters and 2 direct in cables from my main blaster to control 4 devices in cabinet with the main blaster on top of the shelf to controls the tv outside the cabinet.
After using both the 1100 and the 900 I prefer the 900 for ease of use. Hope that helps.
