I have a Denon AVR-2800 receiver. i cannot get it to recognize my subwoofer which is a big problem. The only way to do it according to the manual which I read over and over, is to have the original remote and press "SystemSetup".

I bought a Harmony 600 today thinking they'd have that function and while they have "Setup", it doesn't do anything at all. I just spent the past 1 hour and 30 minutes reflashing my Harmony 600 with AVR-888, 2800, 1600, 2801, 2802, 2803, 2805, 3300, 2809, 2807. NOTHING is working. These all have a command called "SETUP" but it doesn't DO anything. No response from my receiver. Other buttons like volume and power work. One of these, I believe the 2809 had one a little different called "SetUp(Setup)" so i got excited but it also did not do anything.

I can't get my system going because the sub won't connect, because my orig remote is gone (i bought this used without a remote), and this harmony isn't working.

I dont know much about programming but if anyone can please lead me in the right direction, I just need this 1 freakin button for like 10 seconds. Is there a way to get the harmony to get the real SystemSetup code installed or uploaded or whatever? Is there a way to do it using a cable tv all in one type remote? I have a Universal Electronics ATLAS OCAP 5-device remote as well as something called a "one for all".

Thanks!

I have a 1909 and I'm pretty sure I can access that menu from my Harmony remote. I'll double check tonight and repost if your issue still isn't resolved. I think the command is either 'menu' or something like 'osd'. See if either of those work.

Hmm okay thanks. Yeah I'm trying to get SystemSetup for simple speaker and subwoofer configurations. I'll try Menu and OSD. I already tried menu and anything else that sounds like it but will try again.

On your Atlas or OFA remote, use setup code Audio 1360 and assign the EFC 33855 to some button. That's Denon IR protocol, device 12, function number 160. If you only need system setup once or twice, after assigning the setup code, you can just
1) Tap Setup
2) Enter 33855
When you enter the last digit, the remote will send the IR signal.

Or if you want the signal stored semi-permanently,
1) Press Setup until 2 blinks
2) Enter 994 (2 blinks)
3) Tap Setup
4) Enter 33855
5) Tap the button to assign this function to.
The remote should blink twice.

if that doesn't work then pm me your email address and i'll send you a pdf of denon ir codes to forward to logitech support so they can add'em to your profile. i tried both setup and osd setup this morning and both work from my harmony remote. it may be though that those codes were part of the update i asked support to do with that code sheet.
