I have had pretty good success setting up my Harmony 880 with My new Denon AVR-1912. Except in the area of volume control. The Denon responds very slowly to the volume up down control on the 880, sending out signals one after the other resulting in the volume slowly adjusting even after I let go of the button. I have tried to change the signal speeds and intermitant speeds, but see no change in regards to volume control.  Anybody have suggestions? I have also tried programming commands remote to remote, even tried raw commands. No Luck. What do you guys think will help?

Try changing the "number of repeats" (now nameless) under Device > Troubleshoot > Device responds to some commands either too many times or only occasionally.

Thank you for your suggestion. That is what I thought would solve the problem too, but what I did find that fixed this was how I programed the buttons. I read the article on this site that listed tips and techniques for teaching remotes commands from other remotes.

([Link: remotecentral.com])

It stated that holding down buttons longer, gives them a chance to tranfer repeat commands. This worked for me and now I am able to control the volume on my Denon AVR1912 with ease.

Thanks again.
