Hi I currently have all my devices input into my Pioneer amp with HDMI inputs and one HDMI output to my LG 42LK450 TV. The problem is when I switch activities it switches to the next HDMI input ie: HDMI1, HDMI2 or HDMI3 on the TV instead of staying on HDMI1. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Because I just bought this TV and replaced it with and older TV I no longer have any tech support. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I should also mention even though the database show separate in puts for HDMI1, HDMI2 and HDMI3 it only cycles through them and doesn't go directly to that input. Thanks Phil

Under your TV "Device > Settings > Adjust inputs", make sure your TV device is configured to use Method 2 (discrete method - default method for the LG42LK450), and review your activities to make sure HDMI1 is selected for the TV input.
Your post is confusing. Is your Harmony software setup configured to use the new LG42LK450 or they old TV?
Note: When you replace a device in your configuration, don't forget to remove the old one.

Sorry for the confusion. The Harmony remote was used on another TV, but deleted the old TV and added the new one and then set up the activities again. I only mentioned it because that's why I don't have free tech support anymore. I'll give your suggestion a try and let you know how I make out. Thanks again

Method 2 (discrete method) may work, but first you need the test the discrete commands in device mode to see how they behaves.

Okay spoke too soon. Method 3 just doesn't change any inputs. When I added an older Nintendo for my son on AV1 composite, it won't change the inputs. So back to square one. Even though the harmony shows discrete codes for the 3 hdmi inputs, it doesn't actually do anything but cycle through the inputs. Any other ideas? If I pay for support from Harmony, do you think they could solve my issue? Thanks again for the reply.

Yes, but did you tested the discrete HDMI commands in device mode?

Select the Device button on your Harmony, then select your device, look for the input commands on the LCD screen and test them, making note of what they do.

... press each command twice consecutively to make sure of its action (discrete or cycling/toggling).

Okay interesting enough the discrete hdmi codes work for hdmi2 and hdmi3, but when pressing hdmi1, it cycles. So, I've switched the cable to hdmi2, but it doesn't change as I think it sends the command when the tv isn't ready. Which setting do I change to have the command send it a bit later when everything is on. It takes about 4 seconds before it's ready to take a command. Thanks
Just figured it out. So everything is good now. Thanks for your help. Testing the discrete codes did the trick and helped solve my problem. Much appreciated
