Well, I need to control these stuff,new TV, DVD player. I am looking for a universal remote that has RF and IR as I need to be able to go through cabinet doors. how about this harmony control?

The only 2 present Harmony remotes that would be able to control devices in a closed cabinet are the 900, & 1100, the 1100 you would have to pruchase the RF Extenter separatly, the 900 comes with a RF Blaster and 2 Mini Blasters.  The only other remote if you could still find one online is the 890, it comes with a RF Extender.

Another option is a regular Harmony IR remote with an IR repeater/extender like the Hot Link Pro (good entry level IR repeater), or the Niles system.
