I've just set up a system for my 90-year-old inlaws, and am having a problem getting the Comcast Motorola DCX3400 DVR to respond to all of the commands from the Harmony 650. In particular, when changing channels, it does not get all of the numbers (3 digits) all of the time. I suspect it has to do with the key delay setting, but I haven't been able to find a setting that works reliably.
One complication is that the DVR is in a cabinet, and I'm also using an IR repeater to talk to it. I *think* that the repeater is working correctly.
Another problem is that they live about 45 minutes away. I'd really appreciate any help/advice you can provide, then the next time I'm up there, I can try it again. If you can suggest testing methods (i.e., try this, then try that) it would be great!
I'm running my own system with a Harmony One, and an IR Repeater talking to a bunch of devices, and have no problems there. I've never had to deal with key delays before.
Thanks!
Howard

Try increasing the "number of repeats" (now nameless) under "Device > Troubleshoot > Device responds to some commands either too many times or only occasionally". The delays are explained is Post #6 of this thread: [Link: remotecentral.com]

Thanks! I'll give that a try tonight. The link you sent was also very useful.
