Hi,

First, sorry for my english...

Before posting i've read many post about Discrete code for LG LD500 telivision... without succes.

First, DOES this television have discrete code to go directly to one input to another? Because i've call LG to ask them to have the discrete code to HDMI input (the only I really need) and they don't know what i'm talking about.

So i've call Logitech, the guy try someting in my account, but without succes too...

So, i' asking if this TV (model 47LD500) really have discrete code, and if so, how can I found it and how i enter to the remote.

I'm very noob, and don't really understand, but just understand that discrete code are special code to do some operation on the TV.

Right now, i've configure my remote to method #3 (press INPUT to bring the menu, RIGHT ARROW to cycle through input and ENTER to confirm)

I've try by default the METHOD #2, but without succes, the only one it working is the InputTV, but InputHDMI1 or InputHDMI2 or all the other "direct" button is not working.

Can someone explain to me my problem and check if the 47LD500 LG television really have discrete code and if so, how to enter to the remote.

Thanks alot :) (and sorry for my english)

The commands in the database tend to be brand generic rather than model specific. Although the database has discrete input commands for your TV brand, your particular model may not support them. Try all the discrete input commands in device mode paying attention to their behaviour. If the ones you need work, then change the Adjust inputs to Method 2 and configure it according to your findings. Else, there is no easy way to find if a particular model support discrete commands.

Note: You may also want to try a similar model ending in LD500. It's possible the dataset for your particular model has the wrong discrete commands.
