My Harmony 700 is about 2 weeks old. My initial battery charge lasted only 5 days. The second about 6 days, but then I got the "please charge" screen and the remote stopped working. Now I am unable to get the batteries to charge. I've checked that all cables are correctly inserted. I finally removed the logitec batteries and put a set of regular Duracell batteries in and the remote is functioning fine.
What is the problem?

Ok... I updated the firmware and now it is charging. I'm still curious if anyone else has had this issue and how to prevent a reoccurrence. Also about battery life. I have my display set to 5 seconds.

5 days on a charge is fantastic. My harmony one won't last 2 more than a day or two. I just leave it on the charger at night.

The Harmony One uses a special Logitech 3.6 volt rechargable battery, kind of looks like a cell phone battery
