Hi,
I have a Harmony 650,

Just replaced my old sony AV with an BDV-E370 3d blu ray DVD home cinema.

Connected to my old Sagem DLP which gets the source OK from the Harmony but the Audio is an issue.

Does anyone know of a way to either go direct to a specific Input/Source/function on the AV.

Set it up & there does not seem to be any discrete codes in the Harmony setup, just input next.

There are 6 inputs DVD>Tuner>TV>SAT>AUDIO>USB... so cycles through, and lots of chances to get out of sync & using help is a pain.

Would not be so bad if you could go to a specific Input then cycle X number of times, which I can do (cheat with the TV).
The e370 stays on the last input used so whilst the Harmony should remember where it is it is easy to get out of sync.

Also display is quite faint so can't easily see what the input is when trying to cycle through to fix so can end up waiting to hear the sound which is crazy.

I can't find any buttons that force the Sony to go to ANY set input.

Tried a few other models, no luck.

My old AV had all the input buttons on the remote (Nothing on the old remote works on the new system so must be completely different)

Any advise,

Thanks I/A.

Reply to my own question,

Some success, What a relief because the more I use the system, how easy it is for the harmony to loose what input & actually other issue that almost made it unusable.

Anyway, I added the device DVD/Min System DAV-HDX500

Tried many since but very luckily the first I tried (else I might have given up) worked with two input.

Input DVD
& Input TV

Would be nice to have more but actually this is fantastic because with two genuine starting points it can minimize cycling & prevent (Or recover) correct input.

Yet to set it up fully but thought I would post as many seem to be reading this post, so either they may same situation but also is hope someone knows these DAV units & might suggest something that might have other inputs to work.
Although the HDX500 above have numerous inputs listed but only those 2 did anything so suspect just these two will ever actually all I really need to get by quite well.

Another follow up to my post,

Spoke to Logitech, they are going to look into adding these and any more into the database.

I have just added them to mine & it works great.

I set up using method 2, Direct InputTV & InputDVD & using InputTV for the all the others that did not have new discrete codes. I then added "inputNext, InputNext" for Aux & Audio etc. when starting the activity.

Not sure if a proper way to migrate code but I used an old harmony 525, programmed it with the DAV-HDX500 then "learnt" the codes to my 650.
Worst case I guess could set up as the DAV-HDX500 and re-program/learn from original remote.

I'm still having trouble setting this up, and the force input codes don't seem to have been added to the BDV-E370 in the Harmony software. Any pointers?

Just a quick note to say that if you add the DVD mini system, manufacturer Sony and model number "BDV" (without quotes) you get

Discrete on/off
INput DVD/BD
Input FM
Input TV

Hope this helps (working on a BDV e780w)
