Basically, I can't get these to work properly. The remote for the projector has the single power button toggle as does the input select.

When turning off the system, the remote takes it as far as the "confirm power off" window, but no further no matter how I program it.

When switching to other activities and changing inputs, it never goes to the proper input.

Can I use a different projector's code such as the PTD-4000?

Any help is appreciated!

A lot of projectors require 2 power off commands to be sent to turn it off.  This can be set at Devices, Your Projector, Settings, Adjust Power.  On the first screen select I want to turn this device off when not in use, on the next screen select one button for on and another button for off,  On the next screen select for Power On, I don't have the original remote, but I know what the command is, then from the drop down list of commands select either PowerOn (if available) or PowerToggle command, next for Power Off, select I need more then one command to turn it off, for the first select either PowerOff (if available) or PowerToggle, do the same for the second Power Off command
